Privacy Policy

This explains what Fat Loss OS collects, why, who else sees it, and how to delete it. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, and a display name if you give one. We use Google sign-in or a one-time email link, so we never store a password.
  • What you tell us to plan with: age, sex for calculation purposes, height, weight, activity level, your goal, and food preferences or allergies.
  • What you log: weight, calories, protein, steps, workouts and water, on the dates you enter them, plus the meal plans and grocery lists generated for you.
  • Technical: a session cookie so you stay signed in, and ordinary server logs. We apply rate limits to protect the service from abuse.

Some of this — body measurements, allergies — is information about your health. We treat it as sensitive: it is used only to produce your own plan and progress, it is never shown to other users, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.

Why we hold it

To provide the Service you asked for: to calculate your targets, generate your plans, show your progress, keep you signed in, take payment for a plan, and answer your support emails. We also use it in aggregate to understand which features are used, in a form that does not identify you.

Who processes it for us

These providers handle data on our behalf, only to run the Service:

  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the application.
  • Neon — the database your account and entries are stored in.
  • Resend — sending sign-in links and account email.
  • Upstash — rate limiting, to keep the service available.
  • Paddle — payments. Paddle is the merchant of record and is the controller of your payment details.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Meta — advertising measurement. Our public pages load Meta's pixel, and when a purchase is made we send Meta the amount along with your email address in hashed form, so we can tell which ads led to it. Meta never receives your health, weight or nutrition data.

We never receive your card details. They go to Paddle, not to us. We store only what plan you bought and its status, so we know what to unlock.

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept while your account exists. Records of purchases are kept after that, because tax and accounting rules require it — those records are kept unlinked from a deleted account wherever possible.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Account. Deleting it removes your profile, goals, targets, daily logs, meal plans, grocery lists and reviews. If you would rather we did it, or you want a copy of what we hold, email us and we will handle it.

Cookies

We set a cookie to keep you signed in, one to remember the language you chose, and one to remember a referral if you arrived through a partner link. Our public pages also load Meta's advertising pixel, which sets cookies used to measure which ads lead to a purchase; it is not loaded inside your account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, or to object to how we use it. Email us and we will do it — we will not make you jump through hoops for something you are entitled to.
